We support individuals in developing competence in self-advocacy and acquiring skills that enable them to become more independent. SAW, Inc offers a full range of Adult Day Programs that includes art, gardening classes, health and fitness programs, and a variety of community inclusion activities. All individuals enjoy outings to the library, the YMCA, shopping, dining, volunteering, and much more. All Adult Day Services are person centered and tailored to the needs and desires of the individual.
SAW, Inc’s., Vocational Habilitation programs help individuals learn and refine effective work habits, behaviors, and skills in supportive work environments, while performing assembly, inspection, packaging, and collating tasks. Employment / Vocational Services are designed to teach and reinforce concepts related to competitive work skills including responsibility, attendance, task completion, problem solving, social interaction, motor skills development and safety. Also, individuals learn to understand the meaning, value, and demands of work and to establish work skills, positive attitudes and behaviors that reinforce positive work skills. This training also helps the individual understand social skills needed to maintain employment. All SAW, Inc., Vocational Habilitation workers are paid for the work they produce.
SAW, Inc. offers a blended Day Service and Vocational Program, which combines Vocational Habilitation Services and Adult Day Services. Our program participants enjoy life skills and inclusive activities, but like anyone, seek a sense of purpose that comes from working. This program combines Adult Day Services with paid Vocational Habilitation.

SAW, Inc. Next STEPS Program was developed in response to the low youth employment rate for individuals with disabilities. Our school to employment offering is a Vocational Habilitation-Transition program for recent high school graduates with developmental disabilities. Next STEPS provides students with transferable vocational education and relevant social skill development improving future opportunities for competitive employment. Next STEPS will provide students with real world, hands-on training through a unique opportunity to explore several different career paths. Programs are customized to fit the needs and preferences of each participant.
SAW, Inc. offers Non-Medical Transportation. Our drivers are SAW employees, vetted and trained to our standards. They follow Health and safety requirements consistent with those of SAW’s policies. Times are conveniently coordinate with SAW’s adult activities centers hours and select Group Employment sites. Service available to and from all of SAW’s adult activities centers and select SAW Group Employment sites. SAW’s NMT service can be billed to your waiver or private pay is also available.
